In a field of rampant payola, fanboys, and the generally incompetent, Proof In Pudding stands out like a sheep in a wolf pasture. How many times has a middling game received glowing reviews and unanimous praise? One too many we say!
We try to differentiate ourselves from the pack by actually playing through the entire game (and providing proof) before writing a review on it, unless it's absolutely terrible and isn't worth our/your time. Additionally, most of our reviews are written by your average, everyday individual who isn't concerned with meeting deadlines or word counts and instead just wants to have their opinion heard.
We don't solely focus on modern releases either. Our content revolves around anything and everything related to videogames. No game is too old or obscure, we love them all. Except that one oscilloscope tennis game, that probably is too obscure for this site.
Anyways, our hope is to foster a community of people who genuinely enjoy playing and talking about videogames. If that sounds cool to you, then welcome aboard. Hang out in the chatroom and tell us why you think A Link to the Past is so much better than Ocarina of Time, comment on our Street Fighter 5 review about why all Ken Masters mains need to have their controller taken away from them, or just do whatever you want, as long as it's with passion. Thanks for reading, and keep on gaming, gamers.
